Our last blood drive for this school year NEXT Thursday, Feb 27th from 1:00-5:00 in the MPR. Our goal is 44 pints and if we get 50 pints we can get an increased scholarship for our students! Log on to www.redcrossblood.org and pick the time that works for you!
The Red Cross is in a critical need for all blood types. The crippling winter storms pounding the Midwest and the devastating fires in California and the beginning of a long, hard recovery, have caused them to have to cancel hundreds of blood drives and lose more than 10,000 pints of blood. We need all the help we can get to keep the shelves full for both local need and the help our neighbors and fellow American - It's all hearts in and all sleeves up to save lives!
Our MedPro students are actively searching for donors (they are graded on this). Please talk to any of the students or Mrs. Jacquez to help you get signed up. Each donor will receive a $15 merchant e-gift card that includes Amazon as an option. Give the gift of life and get a gift card in return.

Save the date! K-5 parents, mark your calendars for Family Reading Night Thursday, Feb. 27 at 6pm in K-Hall.

Just a friendly reminder to set your appointment for the blood drive coming up Feb. 27! Call 800-733-2767 to schedule or go to redcrossblood.org and use sponsor code STDAVIDHS.

Eight of St. David High School's amazing student leaders interested in a healthcare career will be traveling to Belize this summer with Global Brigades to participate in an 8 day medical service trip. SSVEC donated $4000 towards this trip! They have truly demonstrated a commitment to their mission statement, being "dedicated to community growth, quality of life and a positive vision for the future". These amazing students are our future in healthcare and this trip will impact their lives forever! THANK YOU, SSVEC!

This is a reminder that there will be no school on Monday, January 20th, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We hope you and your family enjoy the long weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday, January 21st.
