We are looking forward to celebrating our students at tonight’s high school graduation and middle school promotion ceremonies.
Today, while contractors were working on planned upgrades to our air conditioning system, an unexpected issue occurred that caused the air conditioning in the high school gymnasium to become unavailable. While both events will proceed as scheduled, we want to make everyone aware that temperatures inside the gym may be warmer than usual.
We encourage guests to dress comfortably, stay hydrated, and arrive prepared for the warm conditions.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we celebrate these important milestones for our students. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to honoring our graduates and promoting middle school students tonight.

This year’s event will feature guest speaker Sheryl Swoopes — 3x WNBA MVP, 4x WNBA Champion, and 3x USA Olympic Gold Medalist.
Each nominee will be recognized with a certificate and official Best of Preps 2026 t-shirt, with top athletes in each sport and Male & Female Athlete of the Year awards announced at the event.

Tuesday, May 19 will be a half-day of school with dismissal at 12:30 p.m. Due to short staffing in our Transportation Department, students who ride the bus in the afternoon will follow a combined route schedule.

Important note: The posted combined route schedule is based on a regular 3:30 p.m. dismissal time. Since students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. on May 19, families should subtract 3 hours from the listed drop-off times to estimate their child’s arrival time.
Kindergarten Promotion Ceremony will take place tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. in the Lansing Auditorium.
Students should report to school at their normal time of 8:00 a.m.
Following the promotion ceremony, families are invited to attend a small reception in your child’s classroom.
Please note: Tomorrow is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL for kindergarten students. Kindergarten students will not attend school on Wednesday or Thursday.
There is still time to register your child for Tiger Summer School!
We are excited to offer this FREE summer learning opportunity for students entering 1st through 6th grade this fall. Tiger Summer School is designed to help students strengthen their reading and math skills while having fun, staying active, and connecting with friends during the summer months.
Classes will be held June 1–30 on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings from 8:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
Why attend Tiger Summer School?

Last night, the Governing Board voted to change school release times for the upcoming school year.
Beginning next school year:
Kindergarten through 5th grade students will be released at 2:30 p.m.
6th through 12th grade students will be released at 3:30 p.m.
We understand that schedule changes impact family routines, transportation, and after-school planning, and we wanted to share this information as early as possible so families have time to prepare.
By hosting this blood drive, Ady is gaining leadership experience, earning volunteer hours, receiving a gift card, and being entered for a chance to win a scholarship. The scholarship drawing and gift card amount will be based on the number of pints collected during the drive.
