Please remember that because this is a postseason tournament, St. David family passes and staff passes will not be accepted for admission.
Friday night’s football game is also an AIA event. Volleyball tournament tickets will not be accepted for admission to the football game. A separate ticket is required.

Our Elementary Costume Parade is this Thursday, October 29, at 8:45 a.m.! Parents are welcome to come watch. You can stand along the parade route in front of the 1938 building or in front of the school office. Please see the attached flyer for the parade route.
New Addition! Following the parade, we will have our First Quarter Awards Assembly in the gym to recognize our students’ accomplishments.

🫀🧠🦴 Human Body Unit Wrap-Up! 💀
Last year, I started doing a fun wrap-up day at the end of our Human Body Unit, and this year I was able to expand it even more with the help of some amazing parent volunteers. It was such a HUGE success, and I just had to share it! ❤️
😷 We dressed up as doctors and examined Barry Bones (our class skeleton), listened to each other’s heartbeats, and gave check-ups to our favorite stuffed animals.
🫁 We created our own human bodies, complete with all the major organs.
🩻 We made a 1st-grade-sized, full-body skeleton!
🧠 We created the nervous system using Play-Doh brains and pipe-cleaner nerves.
🪥🦷 We learned how to properly care for our teeth, and each child received a toothbrush and toothpaste, thanks to Colgate!
🦴 We played Operation and practiced our skills while having lots of fun.
💀 We used our fine motor skills to see how high we could stack eyeballs and skulls!
I absolutely LOVE seeing how excited the kids get when learning about the human body. If you see my students, ask them about bones, muscles, the digestive system, or the nervous system… but be prepared, because they may never stop talking about it! 😂❤️

We’re looking for a comfortable sofa in good condition to help get the project started! If you have a sofa you’d like to donate, please contact the school office.

One of our school buses was involved in a minor accident today. The bus was rear-ended by another vehicle, and the accident was not the fault of our bus driver. Thankfully, all students, staff, and our bus driver are okay. We wanted to make sure our families were aware and reassured that everyone is safe.
Middle school boys basketball open gym today at 2pm. Season will officially start October 19. Please have paperwork & fees completed in the office prior to fall break.
