Our next Blood Drive is coming up on Wednesday, October 7, from 1–5 PM, and we need your help!

We currently have only 14 donors scheduled, but at our most successful blood drive, our St. David community came together to donate 49 pints. This time, our HOSA team has set a new goal of 61 units, and we’d love to see our community come together to reach it!

St. David Tigers have hosted more than 28 blood drives, and our community has continued to make a tremendous impact. Now we're asking you to help us go even further.

Did you know that all St. David students can receive free breakfast and lunch at school every day?

Our school provides free meals to every student, Kindergarten through 12th grade, with no application, paperwork, or income verification required. Every student is eligible!

This is a wonderful benefit for our families and one we want to make sure everyone knows about. If your child has been bringing a lunch from home or skipping breakfast at school, please know that they are welcome to enjoy a free school meal instead.

We encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity. It’s one less thing to worry about when getting kids ready for school each day!

🌟 Congratulations, CTE Student of the Month - Addison Merrill!!🌟

When a new freshman was having trouble finding her way around our campus, Addison, a senior in the Early Childhood program, stepped in to help. She got a school map, helped color-code and number the freshman’s classes, and then walked her around campus to show her where each class was.

Mrs. Weisling was especially impressed by the patience and kindness she showed. When thanked for helping, Addison simply said it was “no big deal.”

But it was. ❤️

She was already practicing what she is learning about working with and caring for others, and showing the kind of leadership we love to see in our Tigers.

Congratulations, Addison! We are proud of you! 🐯💙💛

Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16, we have several student activities and athletic events that will affect our regular student transportation schedule.

We will have one bus available to transport students at each dismissal time. That bus will run at the 2:30 p.m. dismissal, and again at the 3:30 p.m. dismissal.

If you are able to pick up your student, we strongly encourage you to do so. Reducing the number of students riding the bus will help us manage transportation as smoothly as possible. We especially encourage Tombstone families who are able to provide transportation to consider picking up their students. With the bus routes and number of students involved, Tombstone students will be among the last students dropped off, and it may be quite late in the day before they arrive home.

If you plan to pick up your student tomorrow, please send a note to your student’s teacher and make sure you communicate the change directly with the teacher so they know your student’s transportation arrangement for tomorrow.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide an estimated arrival time for individual stops tomorrow. We ask for everyone's patience and understanding as our driver works to get all students home safely.
