🍿 A movie with a mission! Join us for an after-school film event supporting our 6th grade class as they work toward their Grand Canyon adventure. Every ticket helps get them one step closer!
One campus, one community! 💛 This week, our 10th grade ELA students teamed up with 1st graders to help with their Animal Research projects- learning, mentoring, and growing together. Moments like this make our campus truly special!
Student transportation changes (such as riding a different bus or getting off at a different stop) require a written note from a parent or guardian. We cannot accept verbal permission given to the bus driver by the student, including phone calls from students to parents or handing the phone to the driver. Miss Barbie's students are diving into the world of Edison robots! 🤖 Yesterday they explored what the robots can do, including sumo wrestling and following a flashlight. Next up: programming them using EdBlocks. Hands-on learning and fun in action!

Our 7th grade students have been diving into consumer math—learning how to balance budgets, manage checkbooks, and plan for unexpected expenses. This week, they put their skills to the test with the Real-World Math: Unexpected Events! game, practicing real-life debits and credits in a fun, hands-on way. Great learning in action!

To put their knowledge to the test, they designed their own creations, devices that could throw away trash without leaving their seats or tossing it by hand. Innovation in action!

The St. David Middle School Girls Basketball Team took 1st Place at the Jaguar Classic in Bisbee this weekend! These girls were dominant all weekend — outscoring opponents 139–33! Briklyn Jacquez was named Tournament MVP after dropping a triple-double in the championship game. Congrats to the coaches and players!
On January 15, our FFA chapter represented St. David Schools at the Arizona FFA South Central Region CDE competitions at Tanque Verde High School in Tucson. Students competed in hands-on Career Development Events such as Livestock, Aquaculture, Forestry, Nursery/landscape and Soils—showcasing their skills, knowledge, and dedication to agricultural education.
We are proud of our students for their hard work, professionalism, and commitment to learning. Competing at the regional level is a meaningful accomplishment, and they represented our school with pride. Great job, Zoey, Mira, Katherine, Georgiana, Kolton & Samson!!
