St. DavidUnified School District #21

Food Services

Our purpose is to provide our students with nutritious meals in a pleasant surrounding. We are committed to delivering high quality, nutritious meals to our students.

We prepare our lunch menus to provide both appeal and proper nutrition to our students. The variety of our menus ensures that our students get all of the necessary nutrients and other substances associated with good health, clear thinking, and a balanced diet. We teach the importance of nutritious meals while encouraging good eating habits. We recognize that nutrition impacts classroom performance, so our menus and food preparation is designed to teach health wellness. We also encourage parents to help their children to eat healthy, nutritious foods both at school and at home. To see what we are doing to accomplish this, we invite you to read the district's student wellness policy.

Summer Food Program Extended

Dear Parents,

This week, Congress announced that all schools in the country can run the Summer Food Program until June 30, 2021, due to the pandemic. This allows any child under the age of 18 to receive a free lunch. St. David will begin this program on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

You do not need to do anything. This applies to every student. Please do not send lunch money at this time. The lunch money that is currently in your child's account will remain there. When this program ends, we will resume charging students based on their eligibility status.

This also applies to any child in your household. If you would like to pick up a lunch for a child, not in school, please do so. This is for any child under the age of 18. They do not have to be registered in school.

  • Dates: May 31–June 30 - Monday–Thursday
  • Time: 10:30–11:30 a.m.
  • Location: Curbside Pick-Up in Front of K-Hall

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Thank You,
