🐣🍽️ Our culinary students whipped up some seriously creative (and delicious!) dishes in this year’s Peep Challenge! Starting March 30, students planned, prepped, and brought their ideas to life using Easter Peeps as the main ingredient while incorporating at least THREE food groups. Talk about a sweet challenge!

From Peep cheesecake to “Peep’n Rolls”, Smore ‘n Peep, Peep parfait, and even Bunny Blondies, the creativity in the kitchen was off the charts. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

🏆 Congratulations to our winners:
🥇 Grand Champion: Jaxon Savage
🥈 2nd Hour: Mikayla Hancock
🥉 3rd Hour: Miah Klump
🎖️ 6th Hour: Aaron Edington

Students from Mrs. Hunt’s Culinary 1 & 2 classes and Mrs. Weilsing’s Culinary 3 class brought their A-game, impressing judges with both presentation and taste during the final minutes of competition!

Congratulations to our own Camber Jacquez for being named the Arizona HS softball player of the week, March 16-21, by AZ Central!

Our 4th grade students had an exciting and hands-on learning experience last week as they welcomed a special guest to campus! We were thrilled to host Geology for Kids, where Mr. Tom Olson brought the fascinating world of earth science to life.

Through an engaging and interactive presentation, students explored the rock cycle and discovered the three main types of rocks—igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic. His enthusiasm and expertise made complex concepts easy to understand and sparked curiosity in our young learners.

A huge thank you to Mr. Olson for inspiring our students and making science both fun and memorable. Experiences like this help bring classroom learning to life, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to connect our students with real-world experts!
