Congratulations to Mrs. Louisa Higginbotham who was awarded an SSVEC micro grant in the amount of $500 last month for some awesome wall-mount activity boards and wooden table top play sets for her preschool classes. We also congratulate Mrs. Theresa Hardman, the recipient of a mini grant from the Cochise Education Foundation in the amount of $200 that she is using to purchase PE equipment for her middle school classes. Thanks to these amazing women for the time & effort they dedicated to apply for grants that would benefit our students. We are so grateful to SSVEC and the Cochise Education Foundation for their generous donations. Their support makes a significant difference in the educational experience for our students. This summer, eight of our Future Heath Professionals students are traveling to Belize with Global Brigades, Inc to work with and shadow healthcare professionals while caring for the underserved population there. They will have the opportunity for hands-on learning, enhanced critical thinking and problem solving, promote cultural awareness and sensitivity and so much more! WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are looking for business partners and community members to help us make this possible with tax deductible donations! Your AZ tax credit is a perfect way to start! Use this form https://5il.co/322f7 to pay the school for your AZ tax credit by cash or check, up to $400 which is a dollar for dollar credit on your AZ taxes. You may also use any additional amount as a deduction on your federal taxes. You may donate to our fundraising campaign online by credit/debit or ACH payment through the Global Brigades website (link below). This also is 100% tax deductible. Click the red “Fund” button and choose if you’d like to support one of our volunteers or the group project donation, in any amount, and you can choose if you’d like it to be an anonymous donation. https://dashboard.globalbrigades.org/empowered/chapter/st-david-hs-hosa-global-medical-squads/brigade/st-david-hs-hosa-global-medical-academy-session-2-june-2025-belize Please consider sponsoring a student or making a partial contribution towards the opportunity of a lifetime. Give blood save life.
On behalf of everyone involved in our school Angel Tree program, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donations. Your kindness and support have made a significant difference in the lives of some very special students. Thanks to your contributions, we were able to bring joy and warmth to 42 children who may have gone without or with very little. Your compassion truly embodies the spirit of giving, and it’s inspiring to see such a strong sense of community. Thank you again for your generosity and for making this year’s Angel Tree initiative a resounding success!
